Company. Quality Metal Finishing was founded in 1989 in Eugene, Oregon, as a production zinc metal finishing company. Under the guidance of Mike Lowden, the current owner and president, QMF was reorganized in 1990 and now serves customers in Oregon, Northern California, and Montana with zinc, nickel, and electroless nickel plating, anodizing, and passivation.

Our growth as a company has been sustained by growth in the range and quality of our services. QMF has implemented a work-in-progress tracking system along with an exceptional quality control program, allowing us to certify our metal finishing to military specifications. We have expanded our capacity to handle large parts, and can offer specialty baths and baking. To ensure a prompt turnaround, our production crews work on flexible schedules, and we have trucks for pickup and delivery.

Management. Our management team has one major task: to empower each of our employees to serve you more effectively.

Mike Lowden, president. Mike has over 20 years' experience in the metal finishing business. At QMF he oversees the development and marketing of new processes and applications, the expansion into new markets, and compliance with federal and state environmental programs.

Dennis Hults, production manager. Dennis has been with QMF since 1995. He oversees scheduling and quality control, and heads the safety committee.

Anna Schmidt, operations manager. Anna joined QMF in 1991. She manages the accounting and administrative staff, and implements computer installations.

Mission. Our goal is to create and maintain a partnership between our customers, vendors, employees, and management, enabling us to serve our customers with quality, integrity, and honesty.
